Welcome
to the Guest Apartment
of the Santa Fe Friends Meetinghouse
If you are looking for a quaint, reasonable place to stay while visiting Santa Fe, or desire to make a quiet personal retreat, you may want to make a reservation for the guest apartment.

Located on Canyon Road, attached to the Meetinghouse, the apartment was originally used as guest space by Olive Rush, the Hoosier Quaker artist who hosted Friends while she lived here from the 1920’s to 1967. It is furnished with the basics—queen bed and small bath and kitchen, including dishes, sink, microwave, refrigerator, hotplate and toaster oven.
To keep things simple, guests make their own beds, cook their own meals and tidy their own space. For those seeking luxury, this may not be your spot, but there is a warmth and charm in the old adobe dwelling which is literally “down-to-earth”. The entire property is non-smoking space.
We provide clean linens (towels, sheets and blankets) and a warm welcome. Guests often enjoy walking or meditating in the large enclosed garden in the rear of the property. The library of the Meeting is available to peruse during a stay. There is also a phone for local calls, credit card use, or dial-up Internet service.
The apartment is within walking distance to restaurants, art galleries, and shops. The historic Santa Fe Plaza is about six blocks away. No reserved parking is provided, but on-street parking is usually available within a block or two on Canyon road and always available two short blocks away on Camino Escondido (see map).
Guests are invited to participate in our community of spiritual stewardship as they feel led. Suggested donations are based on operating expenses, but gifts beyond that are most welcome: $40/day for one person, $50/day for two. Checks may be made payable to Santa Fe Friends Meeting.
Reservations should be for a minimum of 3 days, and a $40 deposit is required for reservation. The deposit will be returned if the reservation is canceled at least a month in advance. It is recommended to make reservations as far ahead as possible.
